Symptoms

Sitebuilder can not publish web site. This action fails with the error:

Cannot publish site because the publishing location status is 'Error'.
Details: Web site URL is invalid..

Cause

Publishing setting are pointed not correctly.

Resolution

Check publishing settings.

1. Domain should be properly resolved in DNS.

2. On the page where publishing parameters should be specified

Host: ftp://domain.com
Web site URL: http://domain.com
Working directory: /httpdocs

Account that is used for FTP authentication should be specified as well.
