Resolution

SYMPTOMS:

You send a mail to a list, but it is not delivered to the subscribers.


RESOLUTION:

- First of all make sure that messages moderation is not enabled for the list. If it is enabled you should login into the list WEB interface and approve the messages to be posted into the list.

- Make sure that Mailman service is running: $PRODUCT_RC_D/mailman status

- Check that Qmail service is running and there are not too many messages in Qmail queue, 766.

- Examine /var/log/mailman/error and $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/var/log/maillog for errors, 942, 1398. If you find any error, try to search it in the knowlage base to find the solution.
