[FIX] Plesk cannot create a MySQL database if MySQL server is configured on a non-standard port

Symptoms

In Plesk, Server, Databases, MySQL MySQL port is set to non-default (not 3306). When attempting to create new database on a domain Plesk displays the error:

Error: Connection to the database server has failed:
Try to establish connection failed

Resolution

This problem has been solved in Plesk version 8.2. Consider upgrading Plesk to the latest version
