Resolution

Hardware node ID (HWID) should be automatically determined by vzlicreq utility during Virtuozzo license request generation and included into the Virtuozzo license request automatically without any additional actions.

Also, you may use the following command on Virtuozzo hardware node to determine Hardware node ID (HWID):

# cat /proc/vz/hwid

In case there are several HWIDs reported in the output, the first one should be used.

If HWID shown in /proc/vz/hwid does not match HWID shown by 'vzlicview' command this means that installed Virtuozzo license is invalid and you need contact sales representative to obtain new license.

Keywords: Hardware node ID, hwid, license, vzlicview
