BSOD in the Virtual Machine migrated from Virtual Server or Virtual PC

Symptoms

When I start the Virtual Machine migrated from Virtual Server 2005 R2 or Virtual PC I am getting BSOD like below:
intelppm.sys
DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONS

Technical information:

** STOP: 0x000000CE (0xF854857A,0x00000000,0xF854857A,0x00000000)
intelppm.sys


The Virtual Machive also can not be booted in 'Safe Mode' to stop the service 'intelppm'.

Resolution

Please perform the steps below:
1. Attach Windows Installation CD to Virtual Machine
2. Change boot sequence for Virtual Machine to boot from CD
3. Start Virtual Machine and click any key to boot from CD
4. Send F10 key to Virtual Machine, in order to get to Recovery Console, use Parallels Desktop menu bar ->  Actions -> Send Keys
5. In Recovery Console type '1' and enter administrator password
6. Run the following command:
disable intelppm

You will see service current status SERVICE_DISABLED
7. Exit Recovery Console typing 'exit'.
8. Virtual Machine will be restarted, and Windows will boot properly.
